With excess confidence, I naively commenced my own application for a slipway. The process floundered at the Council’s planning department. I then visited Mrs Tina Stansfeild, who, with a wry smile took over the application process. She took the site measurements and identified all the ecological/environmental features which needed to be addressed.
Her coherent knowledge of the myriad requirements of legislation, environmental/ control plans, planning codes and policy, were plainly evident in the professionally presented final application and plans –which enjoyed a smooth passage through the various approval agencies. Mrs Stanfield – thank you for your patience and skill (and progress reports). I would recommend your service to anyone.

Luke Stansfield and his highly experienced team have provided our adjoining neighbours, myself and my family with an aesthetically pleasing, functional and strong jetty and slipway. At Luke’s suggestion, we opted to replace the timberway with a thru-flow plastic. This material pleases the environmentalists as it allows light to penetrate to promote the growth of sea grass and allows storm waves to pass up through the structure, placing less stress on the jetty timbers. It is maintenance free. We are confident that, in combination with hardwood bearers and frame, stainless steel fasteners and piers of heavy rail (completely encased in concrete and industrial grade PVC) we have a long-life facility to increase the enjoyment of our waterfront.
Incidental to building the slip-way which was completed in just two days, Luke Stansfield provided good advice as to the precise placement of the rails adjacent to the jetty, as well as very useful tips to maximize the benefit of launching/retrieving our 5.8 metre runabout on the slip. Mr Stansfield’s ‘hands-on’ involvement and supervision of both constructions, ensured outcomes that exceeded our expectations. In the writer’s view, he is truly entitled to be known as The Jetty Man.

Dear Luke & Tina
This is a belated thank you foe the inspection report on my jetty. I’ve arranged with Rob to drop you off a carton of beer. Rob is always very busy so i hope you have received it, or will in the near future. It’s just a small token of my appreciation.
I was rather hoping that the jetty would have been rejectedd and removed so I could have given the job to you.
Once again Luke – my sincere thanks to you and Tina and if I need further work done I’ll know where to go.
